Weekly Food Assistance
Community Outreach Services operates the Food Pantry located at 19 Park Street in Kennebunk, which provides both perishable and non-perishable food to residents of Arundel, Kennebunk, and Kennebunkport. All food orders require an appointment which can be requested directly through their website or by calling (207) 985-3844.
Food Pantry Appointment Hours
- Monday: 12:00pm to 2:00pm
- Tuesday: 3:00pm to 5:00pm
- Thursday: 3:00pm to 5:00pm
- Friday: 9:00am to 12:00pm

Weekly Farmers Market
The Kennebunk Farmers' Market is held each Saturday from May through November. The Farmers Market accepts SNAP benefits and EBT cards and also offers a matching bonus bucks program, which provides $1 for every $1 spent using your EBT cards. The Market is located in the municipal Garden Street parking lot (behind Garden Street Bowl).
Monthly Meals
Community Harvest sponsors Harvest Café, which provides delicious complimentary meals on the third Thursday of each month at 5:30pm at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 2 Lord Street.
Holy Cross Lutheran Church sponsors Share the Bounty, a free Bean Supper held on the first Saturday of each month from 4:00-6:00pm at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 2 Lord Street. Holy Cross Lutheran Church also sponsors, a Friendship Lunch, held on the second Monday of each month from 12:00-1:00pm at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 2 Lord Street.
St. David's Episcopal Church hosts a free community soup lunch, on the 4th Tuesday of each month served from 10:00am-12:00pm. St. David's also hosts the Wayside Food Program available to seniors in our community. See below for details about that program.
Wayside Food Program
The Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) is a senior food assistance program. Wayside collaborates with St. David's Episcopal Church to provide free 30-pound food boxes to those who qualify.
Meals on Wheels
Southern Maine Agency on Aging offers a meal delivery program for residents age 60 or older. FMI, call (800) 400-6325.
Holiday Food Box Program
Several community non-profit organizations, programs and grocery/convenient stores work together to offer Holiday Food Boxes for Thanksgiving and Christmas to residents (individuals and families) which are then delivered by volunteers right to you at home. As the time gets closer to each Holiday, we will publish an online registration form for you to request holiday food boxes.
