Central Station is located at 1 Summer Street
Central Fire Station is located in the downtown village of Kennebunk and is Headquarters to Kennebunk Fire Rescue administration. . The current station was constructed in 1986 as a replacement for the older Central Fire Station, including expansion above for additional town offices. The station currently houses 2 engines, 1 Ladder, 2 Brush trucks, 1 ATV, and 3 ambulances, with a total capacity to hold 10 pieces of apparatus. Currently staffed with full time, and per diem personnel 24 hrs a day.
Rescue
Kennebunk Fire Rescue provides state of the art pre-hospital emergency care to the Town of Kennebunk 24/7 365 days a year. We use a fleet of 4 ambulances with 2 being staffed 24 hours a day up to the Paramedic level. We also provide non-emergency transport and transfer services to non-ambulatory patients in our community. The Town of Kennebunk assesses fees for the delivery of pre-hospital emergency medical care and transfers. Calls for assistance are not billed, nor are false medical alarms or calls that do not result in a transport. Although emergency services are performed by Kennebunk Fire Rescue, billing operations and the collection of fees are performed by a
private billing company.
