The Climate Action Committee Goals FY 2024-25 (subject to change after committee members are appointed)

1. Organize the Climate Action Committee on climate initiatives, elect officers, and vote on by-laws and goals.
2. Engage with Town staff and other partners designated in the Climate Action Plan to discuss priorities and capacity for implementation. Discuss current projects that align with the CAP and ideas for future initiatives.
3. Review the Climate Action Plan and indicate strategies and/or action items that the Town should prioritize.
4. Make recommendations on initial strategies and action items to be included in the 2025-26 budget.
5. Begin to create educational opportunities for the municipality and community members.
