Where: Edward C. Winston Town Hall Auditorium; 1 Summer Street, Kennebunk
Nomination Papers Available: Nomination Papers are now available. To be a nominated candidate which gets your name on the ballot for the June 9, 2026 election, you must get at least 25 signatures and not more than 100 from Kennebunk registered voters on petition papers issued by the Town Clerk’s Office.
Papers must be returned to the Town Clerk no later than 4:00 PM on April 10, 2026.
Open seats are:
2 Select Board seats for 3 years
2 RSU 21 Director seats for 3 years
1 RSU 21 Director seat for 2 years
1 Kennebunk Sewer District Trustee seat for 3 years
1 Kennebunk Light and Power District Trustee seat for 5 years
1 Kennebunk, K-Port, Wells Water District Trustee seat for 3 years
On April 3, 2026, nomination papers will be available for a one year seat on the RSU 21 Board of Directors. Nomination papers for that seat will be due in the Town Clerk’s Office no later than 4:00pm on April 15, 2026.

Absentee Ballots
We always encourage absentee/early voting. Absentee ballots will be available Friday, May 8th for the June 9, 2026 election. You can request a ballot/vote early in one of the following ways:
- Starting Friday May 8th, complete an online request form here and your ballots will be mailed to you.
- Call 207-604-1326 and request ballots be sent to your mailing address.
- Come in to the Town Clerk’s Office and take ballots home to all in your household.
- Come in to the Town Clerk’s Office and vote in person once absentee ballots are available.
