The Kennebunk Police Department is pleased to this program, intended to support seniors, homebound residents and individuals with disabilities.

The Town of Kennebunk offers a public sand pile, located at the Public Services and Transfer Station facility, located at 36 Sea Road. The sand pile is located to the left upon entering the site, just inside the front gate. Residents may fill one 5 gallon bucket per storm of this winter sand mix (sand mixed with salt).

Seniors, or those who are unable to fill and transport a bucket themselves, may request a bucket of sand by completing the form below. A Kennebunk Police Officer will make a delivery as soon as possible once a request is received.
