"The Kennector has introduced me to people who live right in my Town who I never would have met before!"

If you like meeting new people, and you have some spare time during your week, the Kennector offers an opportunity to give back to your community and make a difference in the lives of your neighbors. Older adults who are unable to drive themselves places can request a ride to go grocery shopping, get to a doctor's appointment, go to the gym, get a haircut, or wherever they need to go, and they are matched with a volunteer to drive them.

The Kennector launched in July of 2022 and has provided over 500 rides for people who live right in our community! Volunteers can receive reimbursement for miles driven, and drive when it's convenient for them. If you have as little as an extra hour per week to drive, you can volunteer!
