Factory Pasture Lane and Depot Street Road Upgrades

This project is part of a Locally Administered Project with the Maine Department of Transportation (MaineDOT) and is referenced in the work plan as WIN 19392.00. 

The project contains two primary elements of work – the road rehabilitation work (non-participating) and the sidewalk work (participating). The sidewalk work was the original focus of the grant and is the participating work, which is eligible for 80% federal funding with 20% local match. The road rehabilitation work was incorporated into the project in subsequent years and is funded with 100% local funds. 

Project Timeline

On December 14, 2021, the Select Board authorized the award of the Factory Pasture Lane & Depot Street Rehabilitation and Sidewalk Project contract to Glidden Excavating & Paving, Inc. of Gorham, Maine for $1,028,535.00.  

Work is scheduled to begin on April 11, 2022 and last throughout summer 2022.
