Applications are available for the Town's property tax assistance program. Homeowners and renters age 62 or older may qualify for this program.

Posted Roads - Please note the closing of certain Town ways to heavy loads beginning Feb. 21

Posted Roads

Certain Town ways are closed to any non-exempt vehicle or combination of vehicles registered for a gross weight of over 23,000 pounds. Two axle trucks between 23,000 and 34,000 pounds transporting Special Commodities are exempt from this closure.

The Board of Selectmen and Budget Board recently held budget meetings to review the proposed 2018-19 Municipal Budget. The various operational budgets, capital and debt service items, were approved throughout the series of meetings.

Officers Recognized with “Act of Bravery" Award

Sgt Eaton & Ofc Cashman with Chief MacKenzie

Sergeant Darrell Eaton and Officer Brian Cashman each recently received an “Act of Bravery Award” from the Maine Chiefs of Police Association at their Awards Dinner on Friday night, February 9th.
