Winter Safety Announcements from Kennebunk Fire Rescue

Winter storms and plowing operations can often hide important utility vents and fire hydrants. Kennebunk Fire Rescue has some important winter safety information to share.

For your safety remove all snow and ice from exterior vents and utilities. Both dryer vents and heating/furnace vents should be checked and properly cleared.

Absentee Voting is available now!

Voting by absentee ballot begins January 27, 2017 for the day long referendum voting day on February 28, 2017. Ballots may be cast from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays until February 23, 2017.

Kennebunk voters are being asked to approve or vote against an ordinance entitled “Town of Kennebunk Moratorium Ordinance on Retail Marijuana Establishments and Retail Marijuana Social Clubs.”

Did you miss the meeting about the dams?

Tuesday, January 17th, the Board of Selectmen and Kennebunk Light and Power hosted a joint public meeting to discuss the future of the three hydroelectric dams in town.

Traffic Alert - Mat Lanigan Bridge Construction Update beginning January 4

January 4 through March 4, Route 9 traffic over the bridge will be reduced to one lane of alternating traffic. All construction work is weather-dependent so the schedule may change.
